Embrace your strengths and elevate your SUCCESS
With 30 years of experience in human services, mental health, education, community collaboration, mentorship, consultation, program development, and implementation, I have dedicated my career to creating safe spaces for community change and innovation.
My journey began as a teen serving as school president, high school class representative, and sorority president. I advanced to running large community-wide collaboratives for a non-profit, sitting on various boards as a military spouse, and helping stand-up a 501(c)(3) in support of military veterans. Throughout my life, I have passionately supported the communities I lived and worked in, driving forward movement aligned with their mission, goals, vision, and values.
As the owner of KORE Women, I bring forward this expertise to support business owners with their program development needs, particularly cross-generational mentorship programs, helping companies develop cohesive, healthy, and sustainable workplace communities. Community building and mentorship are ingrained in my DNA, and I am deeply passionate about them.
Are your employees feeling disconnected? Is your company experiencing high turnover, a lack of creativity, or engagement issues? I can help enhance employee engagement, boost productivity, and ensure that voices and ideas are embraced. My innovative approach to mentorship bridges generational gaps to support leadership initiatives.
At KORE Women, we designed the KORE Mentorship Solutions program to revolutionize the workplace by fostering environments where every individual feels empowered, valued, and connected. Inspired by the holistic psychology of Alfred Adler, our approach prioritizes cross-generational relationships and community, recognizing that strong connections and a sense of belonging are the cornerstones of a healthy work environment.
If you want to develop a cross-generational mentorship program that acknowledges the past, embraces the present, and builds a brighter, sustainable future for your company, let’s connect.
I have also published a phenomenological study, “Effects of the War in Iraq on Military Marriages,” in which I studied six factors that affect military marriages separated by war.
I hold a bachelor’s in English Literature from the University of California, Berkeley, a master’s in Human Services with a Specialty in Community Counseling from National University, San Diego, and a PhD in Psychology with a clinical emphasis from Saybrook University, Pasadena. I have also been certified in teaching, mediation, substance abuse education and prevention, and leadership.
I have served as a coach to entrepreneurs, writers, creatives, and those in both the for-profit and non-profit settings. I have facilitated communication groups, taught courses in career transition, psychology, and human services, and served as a mentor for doctoral students.
In addition, I have conducted both qualitative and quantitative research, hosted both in-person and virtual empowerment seminars, have produced documentary films focused on women and empowerment, and continue to host and produce The KORE Women podcast.
It is my goal as a High Performance Coach to support the individual, solopreneur, and company through expert evaluation to help them identify the distinct factors that will take them from Misunderstood to Purpose Driven Success. I can offer the individual, solopreneur and company support to evaluate the health and functioning of their business structure, strategy, and process; the tools to build healthier relationships that will support their vision and business and take them beyond the initial meet-up or typical networking framework; and guidance to start their own podcast to support their business. As a coach, I want to help my clients become more emotionally agile, better understand adaptive responsiveness, and identify the multiple factors that will excel their success and align their vision, values, and purpose!
